About owner parking rights

I m living in a rented 2bhk flat on 3rd floor because my own flat on 7th floor is 1bhk and not enough for my family,and due to parking space crisis in my housing society some people are saving that i should not get parking as i m not living in my own flat but rented flat.pls help and guide if theres any law that says even though i m member i vote but cant get parking as per my turn cause i m not living in my own flat.
