I live in pune, i got possession of my flat on Aug-2016, that time I was already paid advance maintenance of Rs. 30500 for 18 months as per agreement with builder. After two months our new society was formed and from Nov.-2016 maintenance charges was revised as a Rs. 3000 p.m.
As I have already paid advance maintenance for 18 months, society is asking me to pay fine of Rs. 19500 and balance maintenance from Nov.-2016 of Rs. 15672. Is it fair that they charging me so much fine as I already paid advance maintenance and if required they can cut my maintenance from my accumulated balance instead of Charing fine till date.
Also for advance maintenance payment i have not ask to society to give me interest or discount instead they are charging me fine and to give NOC for my home loan balance transfer.
Please advise.

In this case the society and builder are two different things. Pay the society as per mentioned above and seek refund from builder.
