Can commercial members be in Managing committee of the Housing Society

Dear Sir,
Our CHS is registered in 2016 and have residential and Commercial (shops/office) members. My question is commercial members are required to be part of the Managing committee. Society want only residential members should be part of Managing committee. please guide us.

    There is no such thing as commercial member. All members are equal.
