Regarding non occupancy charges levied by a MHADA co-opetative housing & interest there on..

I have a room in a cluster in A MHADA co-opetative housing society in Charkop Kandivili and I have given on rent for last 6 years. For this the society is charging me a non occupancy charges, equivalent to the one month's rent as mentioned in the Leave N license agreement submitted to the society. Since last 3 years, due to some internal problems with the managing committee the society has not given any monthly maintenance bills and now they are demanding the full payment, along with compound interest on last 3 years payment which included the Non occupancy charges for last 5 years as per their calculation... I have written a letter to the Sub Registrar MHADA but have got no response from them too. They say that this matter doesn't not come under their jurisdiction and we should approach the ' Co operative housing society court' .
Kindly guide me...

    Sir you should submit a copy of your registered LL agreement alongwith the copy of the police verification form to your society.. After you fulfill these conditions, the society is liable to charge you only 10‰ of the monthly maintenance charges.
