SGM for election and AGM on same day

Can a society conduct AGM and election of new MC to be conducted by RO on the same day? First AGM to pass audited accounts of last FY. On the conclusion of the AGM, the election officer can conduct SGM. Society is going to have an unanimous election. Hence counting formalities will not be there. Please advice
