Usage of common spaces i.e. passage outside main door
The current structure of our building is such that our neighboring flat is adjacent to ours with very little space between the doors. The space outside my main door is being used by my neighbor by keeping his shoe cabinet. Despite multiple request he refuses to move the shoe cabinet inside his flat. We have also registered a application with the society chairman. When the society chairman spoke to my neighbor he refused to move it and cited that other flats also have a shoe rack outside so why not his. The problem is this shoe cabinet is causing hindrance to enter and exit our flat. As per my information, the society is well within its rights to ask them to move it inside and ensure the same is followed. Kindly advice, also if there is a specific article / reference in the society bye can you please give me a reference so that i can quote the same to the society chairman and my neighbor?
Thanks in advance.
