Water Connection to Commercial shop from Housing Society

I have a commercial shop in a CHS. The said shop does not have a water connection. I have requested the Society for a connection but they have replied saying that Society can not give water connections to shops. Residential water cannot be given to commercial properties. Is this true if so what is the alternative. As a society member what are my rights?

    Dear Vineet,

    You will have to apply for commercial connection from municipal department, society will give NOC for it

    Hi - I have a similar case. What if my society does not give me NOC for water connection? Do i have the rights of getting it?
