Do I have to bear complete cost?
Hi, I have been resident to a flat in a Co-operative Housing Society and there are commercial shops below my building. One of the shops has been facing leakages maybe due to some obsolete pipe from my washroom. To note, I have not renovated or had any constructions in past 10 years and the below commercial shop is registered as shop and not ground floor flat. Then is the washroom reconstruction or any part thereof, borne by the flat resident completely? Isn't the cost to be equally be shared by both parties? What will be the take on BMC in this?
