Renting my flat for office use
Sir I am the owner of a flat in a registered housing society. I have let out my flat on leave and license for office use. I have submitted the related leave and license agreement + police verification certificate. Society is charging non occupancy charges @10% in the maintenance bill. I am paying society maintenance regularly. Suddenly society is saying that they will consider this as commercial leasing and I have to pay five times the maintenance charges from the existing rate. Kindly advise me how to respond to this issue with the society and resolve the issue.
